What is it?

The completion certificate is the municipality's confirmation that the building was built per its permit and regulations. It is the prerequisite for subdivision minutes, unit deeds and permanent utility connections.

Steps

  1. Apply at an electronic city-services office
  2. Municipal inspection and compliance report
  3. Settling any outstanding charges
  4. Supervisors' sign-off and issuance

If there are violations?

The file goes to the Article-100 commission, which may fine or order correction. Specialist advice at this stage prevents costly decisions.
